What a waste of a money. It’s very clear from the moss and bare soil that the area has way too much shade, even for fine fescue. Is that for a client? You’re gonna get some angry phone calls several months from now when it all reverts back to moss and soil.

Looks great but Hope you evaluated sunlight before selecting the turf species.

OP next fall. Why is all my grass dead?

  4. Did you even bother to put dirt down?

Actually I hope you didn’t waste money on dirt cause that grass isn’t going to get nearly enough sun anyway. I hope this was put down to make the house look better for listing photos or something.

Plus the soil in first photo looks very hard packed.

I’d love to see some in between pics since that looks like a disaster waiting to happen

There was no sun before and won’t be any sun after.

A good start… make sure you are watering that sod…

  9. Psych_nature_dude

Oh gosh you just buzzed it down with a weed eater and laid it didn’t you? 😓

Water it a ton! Hope it works out for you. Did you do anything to the dirt underneath the sod? Add topsoil, compost, till the dirt at all to loosen it up, etc?

Hope you picked an extreme shade grass, lol.

I am not sure how a Sod company is able to advertise their shoddy work in this sub. Mods needs to be more careful
